Planting Time
My the time flies by faster and faster each day. I hired Mike to come out yesterday and use his tractor to plow my large garden bed in the back yard. Now I know why people never had weight problems until the most recent decades. In the old days, people did not have tractors and plows. Farmers turned the soil with horses or donkeys that carried the plow behind them as the farmer steered the animals. I do have to use the shovel some today to get some of my crops planted but am thankful that most of the heavy work is already done. My back is the most thankful part of my body. Even though we have had colder weather in April than February, it is time to put in the potatoes, peas, and broccoli.

I know farming and gardening is very hard work but also very rewarding knowing you are growing your own nutritious, chemical free food. Happy Farming and Enjoy. Healthy Blessings, Barbara Arbster
